B.A. (Honours) Humanities & Social Sciences
Concept
Cluster Innovation Centre offers a four-year undergraduate degree, B.A. (Honours) Humanities and Social Sciences. This program, which was started in 2012, is the first of its kind in India based on Design-Your-Own-Degree (DYOD) and Meta-College concepts. The distinctive aspects of the program are its emphasis on hands-on research-based and innovation-based projects, virtual learning, internships, and group-based activities, rather than relying exclusively on classroom learning. Interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary learning is encouraged for a holistic understanding of the disciplines of Humanities and Social Sciences. Students can opt for papers across various subjects, semesters, and courses at the different Delhi University colleges as per their stream under meta-college concept. The program offers three streams viz. Counselling, Heritage Tourism, and Media & Communication. Students tailor-make their degree under the banner of these streams with the guidance of a mentor.
